Custom Artwork & Design Guidelines
To ensure your custom kit design process is as smooth and fast as possible, please review the following guidelines. Providing us with high-quality files upfront helps our design team deliver the perfect kit you envision quickly.
Logo and Graphic Requirements
For the best and quickest results, we require that all logos and graphics are supplied in a Vector format.
- Preferred File Types: Our design team uses Adobe Illustrator, so files saved as .ai, .eps, or .pdf (with live vector data) are ideal. Please ensure all text/fonts in the files are converted to outlines or paths.
- Why Vector? Vector files can be scaled to any size without losing resolution, ensuring your logos look sharp and professional on all garment sizes.
Handling Non-Vector Files (Bitmap/Raster): We understand that vector files aren’t always available. If you can only provide bitmap/raster file types (such as .jpeg, .png, .tiff, or .psd), our designers will need to professionally re-draw the logo to meet the high-resolution printing standards. This service will incur a logo re-drawing fee, as detailed in the charges section below.
COLOUR MATCHING
We strive for perfect colour accuracy on your finished kit.
- Colour Reference: We match colours to Pantone Solid Coated colour numbers.
- Printing Process: We use a CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) process, which allows us to offer an unlimited range of colour options at no extra charge. We will match your supplied Pantone number to the closest CMYK equivalent.
Important Note: If you supply colours using CMYK or RGB values instead of a Pantone reference, we cannot guarantee an exact match, as monitor and printer settings vary significantly.
Design Cropping and Sizing
- To ensure consistency, we take care to position critical design elements (like main logos and key text) within the visible area of the smallest garment size.
- Please note that non-critical elements (such as background images) may be cropped slightly differently on smaller sizes compared to larger sizes, as we adjust to the garment’s dimensions.
Artwork Design Service & Charges
We offer a professional design service to streamline your order.

| Standard Artwork Service | £100 +VAT | Includes design setup and required amendments. This fee is waived (Free of Charge) for all orders with a value above £500 +VAT. |
| Logo Re-drawing Fee | £60 +VAT per logo | Applied only if we need to professionally re-draw a logo that was not supplied in the required vector format. (This fee is rarely necessary as most companies can provide a suitable file.) |
| Kit Designer Template | No Charge | If you utilise our pre-set design templates and supply all logos in the correct vector format, there is no artwork charge. |
Design Amendments: We are happy to accommodate changes. To keep your order moving swiftly toward production, we kindly ask that you keep design amendment requests to a minimum. Excessive changes may impact your final approval and production timeline.
Branding Options
- Own Branding Option: If you require the removal of our branding from the garments, a 30% customisation fee will be applied to the total value of your order.
Artwork Lead Times
We are committed to providing you with an initial artwork proof efficiently.
- We aim to deliver your artwork proof within 5 working days of receiving all necessary information.
- To ensure this timeline: Please make sure you have supplied full design instructions, all required logos in the correct format (as detailed above), and any sample garments needed for colour matching. If any details are missing, the proofing process will naturally take longer than 5 working days.
